So I went to a craft fair this weekend, and I'll admit it. My expectations were low. Why? I don't know. Maybe it's because the BUST Craftacular was happening the same day in Silverlake or Echo Park or whatever hip location and instead I spent it at a craft store in Cerritos.
But let me tell you...I stand corrected. I am very happy I went. It was just what I needed to feel inspired again.
There were amazingly talented vendors, free gifts and a DJ! Very cool.
The only purchases I made were a little felted owl "thingy" that was under $2 and a skein of yarn from the store, but only because I had a coupon. It cost me $4. But trust me, I could have made purchases from probably every vendor there. I just had to walk away though. Money is super tight around here these days.
However, if I had money? My god. I would have bought from this vendor.
Oh man, the pigtails in bows? Killing me. There are definitely some problems with making a purchase though...do I choose a girl with pigtails? A scarf? A beret?! A caplet?! Blonde or redheaded?! Too much cuteness. Go buy yourself one. (It looks like there aren't too many options right now, my guess is she sold a TON at the Handmade Brigade, but I imagine that will change. Add the seller to your favorites on Etsy and maybe you can check back soon.)
Also inspiring? This girl.
You know Randy loves this card.
There are so many talented people out there...

OMIGOSH, I followed the link, the cutest dolls. Ooooh, I am coveting them. It's wrong, but I am coveting them. So cute.
And I am jealous that you have such a cool art fair to go to. Most of those around here aren't quite as imaginative.

I know money's tough nowadays, but if you ever can afford to buy one (or some) -- hmmm, Christmas money?! lol -- I'll be here. :)

Oh my, I love these things! My brother NEEDS the ninja card - framed or something. It's been a while since I braved a craft fair but you have me convinced to give them another try.
(Do you have my email this time?)
