Let's try this again...
I can't bear the idea of typing all the Orangina info again considering I've done it about 5 times now. So here you go.
Done. 2 months to the day that I cast on. I don't know if I will be doing another lace project for a while. This one was really testing my patience for a bit there. It has nothing to do with the pattern, Stefanie did a great job, it's written very simply, it was my doing. I just wasn't paying enough attention.
It's supposed to be a little more loose fitting, but I kept hearing on Ravelry how some were stretching out, so I took that into consideration and made a smaller size. I've already worn it a few times and have received compliments.
I might make one slight change soon though, if I can find what I want. Buttons at the shoulder seams purely for decoration. I put these on originally but then took them off because it wasn't quite the effect I was going for.
I want something that looks a little more antique to go with the lace. Anyway, it's good enough for now.

Cuuuuuuuuuute. That color looks fabulous on you. I like the button idea, too. You're so crafty!

It looks SO AWESOME. seriously. I love it so much. It is a pain to do all that lace, but I think the finished product is really beautiful.

Wow! Hot mama! I love the boob shot. Is that what you were working on when you were out here in the AZ? By the way, its 113º outside and I am wearing a sweater and the beanie you made me because its 68º in my office. BRRR! But, now that people have seen your work (the beanie)they want one. I tell them, "its a Stacey Original," too bad!

YAY! It looks great on you Stace! The color is perfect and you know, I like the buttons on the shoulder idea. Just leave it plain til you find THE ones. Maybe some intricate pewter ones? Check out M&L fabric when you go there again. I think they had some.
