Apron...

A couple of months ago I started this apron.

Remember this picture?

Apron attempt

I had cut out all the pieces, sewn a few pieces, then my machine jammed and I had to take it in to get it fixed. The apron got forgotten about until a few days ago.

This is almost as cute as the earrings Carrie sent me:

Here's the other side, and with the tie in the back instead:

I love this thing. I love it so much I am tempted to wear it in public. I won't, but I would love to find a dress like this though...

I thought I was going to like the polka dot side more, but I think I prefer the floral side.

Apron fabric (3)

So there you have it. The cutest thing I have ever sewn.

i love the floral side as well. it's wonderfully retro, but not overly so. lovely colors as well.

I am swooning over this apron right now. My enthusiasm is making me wheeze. Stop trying to kill me with posts of cute things. So adorable.

I love that! Its so cute! I especially like that blue/brown fabric :)

That is so. damn. cute. srsly. I might need to make one of those.

totally CUTE! I love it! and the fabrics are both so cute. Wow, I wish I could sew a straight line. You should wear it out :)

I MUST HAVE ONE. I MUST! Seriously you should start making and selling your creations on eBay.
Then again, I would outbid everyone because I usually LOVE everything you make. (I say 'usually' in response to those fingerless gloves...) I heart Stacey :)

NICE! Wow, it already looks like a dress from the front. How hard could it be to make it into a dress?

I just found your blog and now I am coveting your apron! It is so cute. Nice sewing!

Sew sweet. Those are more than adorable. Good work. And even if you aren't, they make a girl so domestic.

Oh, that apron is so cute! My sewing machine and I need a mediator....or I need more patience. Great job!

So, SO cute! I've got to make that one.

I just love this apron! You did a fabulous job!
